Hargrave’s Plumbing in Lafayette & Youngsville, Louisiana is the embodiment of years of hard work, knowledge, determination, and local family values. Hargrave’s Plumbing traces its roots all the way back to the 1970’s. That’s when our owner Travis Hargrave’s father and mother Burt and Lydia Hargrave, dove into the plumbing profession. For years Mr. Burt fed his family by plumbing thousands of homes in and around Lafayette, Louisiana. He and Lydia learned the ins and outs of the profession and began teaching them to their son Travis and future daughter in law Bridget way back in 1995.

While a student at Teurlings Catholic High School Travis worked part time with his father. He continued to do so all the way through his graduation in General Studies from the University of Louisiana. It was then that with a major focus on business and a minor in marketing Travis took on the world of plumbing full time. Within a few years Travis was the lead field plumber for Burt Hargrave’s Plumbing and helped run crews that plumbed hundreds of homes in Acadiana. Times were good but eventually that just wasn’t enough.
